While my daughter isn't bi-racial her hair ttrxuee is VERY similar to NICO's. We use Carol's daughter's black vanilla leave in conditioner and Margarites magic in the fall/winter and I shampoo her hair two three weeks, part it in 6 sections allow it to air dry a bit and the blow dry and flat iron each section. Feels like silk and YAH!! no tangles! Mixed chicks have some great products that we are going to try in the summer. We can't fight the curl NC has way too much humidity in the summer. BTW I love the curls but my tenderheaded princess has asked to have her locks cut short to avoid the pain. (I am tenderheaded too) Pony tails are a great option and covered bands should prevent pulling and breakage but they certainly minimize the tangling that occurs during the course of my daughters very active day.
